Unfortunately, we no longer count the growing number of victims of violence and aggression against women, in the world in general, and especially in Arab-Muslim societies including Tunisia. Often viewed as the weaker sex and in search of identity in order to be able to better assert themselves in the family unit and in society, battered women often exhibit the same symptoms and demand the same type of support and protection.
